DUO'S POWERS & PERMISSIONS (Active Cloak+Shinigami Eyes):
Duo has 2 powersets in MoM: the new "Shinigami Eyes", and his classic powerset, the "Active Cloak".
SHINIGAMI EYES:
Although they appear in pretty much the same manner, unlike the actually useful, Death Note-aiding variety, Duo's "Shinigami eyes" don't allow him to see the real names and lifespans of other imPorts, but rather allow him to see how many times your character has died, as well as how if you so choose.
This power manifests, however, in the same way as Death Note's "Shinigami eyes". This power was chosen for him partially thanks to his previous game history, after all...
Important Things!:
1. This can include deaths both in-canon and in-MoM, but does NOT count for deaths that haven't happened to your character yet in their canonpoint.
2. If your character has never died, Duo doesn't see anything, so you only need to fill this out if your character has died before.
3. This power is totally opt-in, so if you don't want Duo to be able to see your characters' deaths, no worries. You need only fill this out if you specifically want him to see/want it to come up between them sometime!
Details for the cause of death should be kept brief- it's appearing floating overhead, after all- 5 words or less should do the trick. Duo will see a short phrase for each death floating overhead of your character in list form. I.e.:
1. blood loss
2. heart attack
3. blunt force trauma
etc. If you have some weird circumstances that you're not sure whether something counts as a death or not, it's totally up to you whether to count it or not!

ACTIVE CLOAK SYSTEM
I figured I should also have this up in case anyone's ever wondering how the heck his cloaking powers work for plot reasons- they're.. a little complex:
POWER: "Active Cloak" (a la Gundam Deathscythe Hell)
-Invisibility
-Inaudibility
-Scentless
-Can spread the effects of his powers to other objects/people
What this means/how this works:
-Works on the cellular level- any cell produced by his body can adapt to its environment/"cloak". As a result of this, his powers still work against those who can see through illusions, and cameras.
-Works similarly to a chameleon but on a much higher level, with instantaneous change, adaptation, etc.
-Transformation is triggered by an impulse sent from the brain, so detached limbs/blood needs an external impulse in order to activate their cloaking powers (aka an electrical charge) which is why blood spilled outside the body can still be smelled and seen, etc.
-Inaudibility occurs because the cells do not cause vibrations when in contact with other objects (air, ground, etc) and thus, cease to cause sound- however, he can also turn this trigger off separately, causing him to become audible to certain molecules/paths of molecules to those he wants to be audible to.
-Process spreads to other subjects as an illusion- thus they are not given the same protection as Duo himself.
-Because the entire process is caused as a conscious command triggered by the brain, if the brain's commands to the body are disrupted somehow, his powers can't be used (a bullet to the brain, snapping the spinal cord, etc). The exception to this being that Duo trained his powers to be in a constant state of use- that is, instead of causing a command for his powers to activate, he instead causes a command for them to deactivate to whomever he chooses. Thus, you can consider him ALWAYS invisible/inaudible/scentless unless he knows you're there. Of course for the purposes of logs/audio, unless he says he's cloaked, he's probably making himself visible to you. When he's out in public as a civilian, he generally keeps himself decloaked.

Because it's an illusion and not a cellular adaptation, it's a mental task and takes concentration. The larger/more complex the object, the more concentration it takes him.
